January and February

As you can see from the pictures we posted, the finish work really began to come together in January and February...
By the end of January, all the trim and interior doors had been installed, the kitchen cabinets (except for the island) were in, the kitchen countertops were being cut, the bathroom tile was in, the clawfoot tub had been refinished, the collar ties were being wrapped, work had begun to refinish the existing floors that we kept, and the bathroom furniture was being made...

This work continued in early February: The existing wood floors were refinished, the Master Bath vanity was ready, and the kitchen countertops (except on the island) were installed.

Since then, it has been a busy few weeks (of course!)...All of the "new" floors are in and have been finished, the kitchen island and countertops are installed, the kitchen sink and garbage disposal are in, the baseboards and baseboard heaters are in, the stairs are ready for treads, the collar ties are wrapped, most of the lighting and electrical work is installed, the toilets and Master Bath vanity faucet are in, the yard has been cleaned up, and the basement fiberglass insulation work has been completed.
